Reiki - What it Feels Like

Every holistic treatment is a uniquely personal one. Whether you feel something during the treatment or not, I assure you that it is working. If you adjust your expectations so that you don't have any, you'll be surprised by what comes up.

Some sensations that may be felt during a Reiki treatment include:

• A warm sensation throughout your body from the hand placements (the practitioner's hands generally heat up during the course of a treatment)
• Tingling in parts of your body
• Goose bumps
• Chills
• Throbbing
• Pins and needles
• Sleepy
• A calming effect that may release emotions so, crying is normal

All clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity. All reactions are normal and whatever communication is exchanged during the treatment is strictly confidential. The bond between a practitioner and a client is sacred and I hold it in the highest regard.
